Born in Kolkata, Abhinav did his early years of schooling from Bombay which had a profound effect on his aesthetic sensibilities. A lover of arts since childhood, he developed a deep passion to understand the relationship between storytelling and technology.

His passion lies in capturing the soul of a story and transforming every frame to a meaningful visual.

From the age of 16 he started his journey shooting Documentaries in India. Over the years,

working with cinematographers from all across the globe he developed his own aesthetic on commercials and Films. He has worked on a wide array of projects which include Long formats like Article 370, Kaala Pani, IC 814, Brahmastra, The Family Man, 

to name a few.
